We typically need 2 weeks lead time before the estate sale to organize, stage, price and advertise for maximum exposure.

Our advertising is extensive. The first step is adding the event to www.estatesales.net, the nation’s leading Estate Sale listing site where customers frequently visit to learn about upcoming local sales. We post ads to Craigslist. We have a growing frequent customer email list, including a large network of dealers and collectors, that we send emails directing our customers to upcoming events. We also print and post signs and flyers around the neighborhood to attract local customers.

For lower overall value estate sales, our staff managing the sale will monitor the property and remain at the sale location throughout the event. For estate sales that reach a minimum overall value, with higher priced items, we can offer to have a security officer in attendance at the estate sale. We also provide locked cases for jewelry.

We will 100% prepare the home and items for the sale. There is minimal effort required from our clients, as we will handle all aspects of the process. Once the contract is signed, the only requirement is that you provide access to the home and sale items, and that not items will be removed. We will organize the items and clean the space in preparation for the day of the sale.

There are no upfront costs for our estate sale services, unlike many other estate sale companies. We will provide an inventory of all items for sale, their listed values, and the sale amounts to give you a final accounting. Our commision on all sales is 40%. The client will receive a check for 60% of all items sold with a full inventory and accounting breakdown.

For the higher value items, we will provide our professional advice on market pricing, and clients may put a minimum price at which they are willing to sell the items.
